PhD studies consists of the preparation and evaluation of the doctoral dissertation and are completed with the awarding of the Doctoral Diploma (PhD). The PhD is an academic title that certifies the completion of original scientific research and the holder’s contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the respective scientific field.

PhD studies are organized by the Schools of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) and are governed by the applicable legislation, the PhD Studies Regulations of A.U.Th., and the regulations of each respective School.
